'Clean Ganga' action plan from May

Union Water Resources Minister Uma Bharti on Saturday said the government will start implementing its action plan on ‘Clean Ganga’ from next month.
The action plan will be launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, she added.
Surface cleaning of Ganga's mainstream is already underway, while the comprehensive plan aiming at freeing the river of waste and ensuring unfettered flow will take off next month, she told reporters here. “We have invited the PM to launch the plan for ‘Clean Ganga’ and start its implementation next month,” Bharti said.
The action plan will be launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, she added.
